Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in Ernakulam, State of Kerala. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality.
