Great opportunity: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Longding, State of Arunachal Pradesh. You will work at an automobile body shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness Full-time, day shift. ₹17,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
