Great opportunity: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Ganderbal, State of Jammu and Kashmir. The job is in a tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Give each garment a final press before packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. ₹700 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
