You should have: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut.
