Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Sonipat, State of Haryana. Day-to-day duties: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
