Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Chengalpattu district, State of Tamil Nadu. The role involves: • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules You should bring clean driving record with no recent endorsements; minimum 2 years' long-haul experience. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
