Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Chitrakoot, Uttar Pradesh. The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment 6+ years on the tools preferred.
