Immediate opening: we are hiring a fettler in Kamareddy, State of Telangana. Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together We are looking for keen eye for casting defects during inspection; physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
