Great opportunity: we are hiring a head butcher in Thiruvananthapuram, State of Kerala. You will work at a wholesale meat market. The role involves: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 5+ years on the tools preferred.
