Join our team: we are hiring a metal caster in Villupuram, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On a typical shift you will mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Requirements: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 5+ years on the tools preferred.
