Head baker • Chumoukedima, State of Nagaland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head baker in Chumoukedima, State of Nagaland. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity. Requirements: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
