Lifting rigger — Sangrur

Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sangrur, State of Punjab. The job is at a shipyard. The role involves: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position You should bring comfortable working at height and in confined spaces; sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness; able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear.
