We are recruiting: we are hiring a window glazier in Shahid Bhagat Singh Nagar, State of Punjab. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals You should have: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
