Requirements: • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Your main tasks: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
