Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chennai, State of Tamil Nadu. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Day to day you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Ideally you have able to pass a practical weld test on the first day; comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. ₹21,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
