We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Balangir, State of Odisha. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around ₹38,000 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
