Immediate opening: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nicobar, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. You should bring proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium; comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters.
