Immediate opening: occupational health and safety officer (State of Andhra Pradesh)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Nandyal, State of Andhra Pradesh. Requirements: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites The role involves update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action.
