Trowel-trade bricklayer • East Godavari, State of Andhra Pradesh

Great opportunity: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in East Godavari, State of Andhra Pradesh. The job is on a new-build development. On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings We are looking for sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish); own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools; proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks.
