You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions.
