Great opportunity: furniture maker (State of Bihar)

Now hiring: we are hiring a furniture maker in Bhojpur, State of Bihar. The job is at a shopfitting company. Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw. Ideally you have confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers; own basic hand tools; at least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
