Gas metal arc welder • Mysore, State of Karnataka

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Mysore, State of Karnataka. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Day-to-day duties: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
