Pressman — Raichur

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pressman in Raichur, State of Karnataka. You will work in a garment export house. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board We are looking for sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings; comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment; aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep.
