The role involves run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges.
