We are recruiting: reinforcement fitter (State of Tamil Nadu)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Coimbatore, State of Tamil Nadu. You should bring physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling; aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements; willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Six days a week, one day off.
