You should bring able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard; ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal.
