Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window installer in West Garo Hills, Meghalaya. You will work at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. On a typical shift you will clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; take site measurements of openings before fabrication. We are looking for able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop; accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
