Your main tasks: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
