Foundry worker • Shimla, State of Himachal Pradesh

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Shimla, State of Himachal Pradesh. You will be based on the moulding line. On a typical shift you will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. Ideally you have physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings; experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry. Full-time, day shift. We offer ₹800 per day plus benefits.
