Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Villupuram, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Day to day you will set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish. What we are looking for: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Six days a week, one day off.
