Flatlock machine operator — Tenkasi district

Immediate opening: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Tenkasi district, State of Tamil Nadu. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. Ideal candidate: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens 2+ years on the tools preferred.
