Immediate opening: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Mahe, Union Territory of Puducherry. The job is at a boiler and appliance service centre. On a typical shift you will install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. You should bring able to read isometric and site drawings; physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
