Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Khordha, State of Odisha. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day On the job you will handle: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints ₹26,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
