Great opportunity: articulated lorry driver (State of Punjab)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an articulated lorry driver in Kapurthala, State of Punjab. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Day-to-day duties: • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading You should have: • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Valid digital tachograph card 6+ years on the tools preferred.
