Immediate opening: safety officer (State of Odisha)

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Koraput, State of Odisha. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift What we are looking for: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
