Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Garhwal, State of Uttarakhand. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. You should bring comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium; ITI in welder trade or equivalent. On the job you will handle: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer ₹40,000 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
