Banksman — Umaria District

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Umaria District, Madhya Pradesh. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use. What we are looking for: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles 4+ years on the tools preferred.
