Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Nicobar, Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Ideally you have 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory; can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
