Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week — bring your tools.
