Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Mandya, State of Karnataka. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
