Immediate opening: acoustic insulation fitter (State of Jammu and Kashmir)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Samba, State of Jammu and Kashmir. You will be based on flat roofs and terraces. Your main tasks: • Carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles We offer ₹21,000 per month plus benefits.
