Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Noklak, State of Nagaland. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On a typical shift you will feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
