Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Vellore, State of Tamil Nadu. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day 6+ years on the tools preferred.
