Now hiring: we are hiring a marble cutter in Lahul and Spiti, State of Himachal Pradesh. You will work on a residential building site. You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Day to day you will fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps; restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
