Steam press operator — Yunusari

Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots.
