Milling machine operator — Morrow County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Morrow County, Oregon. You will be based at a busy machine shop. What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Day-to-day duties: • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Part-time with flexible hours.
