Vacancy available: sheet metal press operator (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Suffolk, England. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Your main tasks: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Part-time with flexible hours.
