D6/D8 dozer operator • Orhionmwon, Edo

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Orhionmwon, Edo. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
