We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Gombe, Gombe State. The job is at a halal meat counter. Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • 2+ years experience working as a butcher You will season and marinate meat on request; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools.
