Framing carpenter — Deaf Smith County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Deaf Smith County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Full-time with occasional weekends.
